Dr. Lina Hamdan graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1997 and has built a distinguished career across two continents. For thirteen years she ran The Hollywood Smile Clinic in Dubai before moving to the United States and founding Aesthetica Dental in Naperville, where she continues to offer the same exceptional care that defined her practice abroad.
Her father, also a dentist, was her first role model and the reason she chose this work. That early influence shows in how she practices today: an artist’s eye paired with cutting-edge technology, with particular focus on porcelain restorations, teeth alignments, whitening, gum reshaping, and the use of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers for facial aesthetics. Alongside cosmetic and smile-makeover work, she practices full-spectrum family dentistry (preventive and restorative care for every age), anchored in strict infection-control protocols and a clear commitment to precision.
Twenty years in, Dr. Lina is still in continuous training. She is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Outside the practice she paints, photographs, rides horses, swims, dives, and cooks, habits that show up, quietly, in how she designs a smile.
